She is not posing. She is resting her face. She has survived emails, opinions, a mysterious ache in her left knee, and a conversation that started with “Can I just ask you something quick?”
She stands very still among the flowers because if she moves, someone will need her.
The roses are pale, like her patience. The birds know better than to speak. Time itself is holding its breath.
This is not a dramatic pause. This is a strategic one.
In a moment, she will open her eyes and return to being competent, kind, and helpful. But not yet.

It's always a busy time on the farm, but sometimes there are moments when I realise the magic is always in the small things. I cannot tell you how happy I was to bark chip the flower farm paths! It was an eight hour slog of shovelling bark chip into a wheelbarrow, but with the sun on my face, the birds singing and the radio playing something smooth and jazzy I was so happy being outside in my happy place. It reminded me that the good stuff is always found if you just take the time to look....This print is a celebration of that. This is a fusion of digital and hand drawn art. It's surrounded by a white border and is simply called "Look for the Magic" The print is available as an A4 (21cm x 29.7cm) or as an A3 (29.7cm x 42cm).
