Welcome to the Home of Joyful Makes!
This workshop will show you how to create your own vintage collage using a combination of collage techniques and relief. We’ll use vintage papers, fabrics and samples to understand composition, repetition, layering and background.
Collage making is a relaxing and enjoyable process. Once you’ve created your original collage it’ll be photographed and made into an A4 print (which will be posted to you after the workshop).
The workshop will take place in the home of joyful makes – my recently revamped art studio.
Important Info:
This workshop is suitable for all abilities, but is adults only.
We’re located on the edge of Dartmoor, sandwiched between Ashburton and Bovey Tracey. Full directions will be emailed to you.
The studio is located up steep granite steps, so not suitable for those with access difficulties.
Please allow 2 hours for this workshop.
This workshop is laid back and friendly, so if you’re coming by yourself, don’t worry. It’s relaxed and you’ll meet some lovely like minded people.
The workshop will spread itself across two rooms, the main studio and the garden room.
