As the flowers bloom in the garden of the flower farm, this workshop focuses on the technique of pen and ink. Looking at seasonal blooms and spending time outside next to the stream, the sounds of nature will focus your attention on the principles of learning the basics of this medium, hatching, cross-hatching, contour, cross contouring, stippling, doodle lining and texture lines.
The workshop will take place outside within the Flower Farm which sits at the bottom of the valley. Should the weather not be in our favour, we’ll paint in the home of joyful makes, my recently revamped art studio.
Important Info:
This workshop is suitable for all abilities. Adults only.
We’re located on the edge of Dartmoor, sandwiched between Ashburton and Bovey Tracey. Full directions will be emailed to you.
The flower farm is located down a lane and through a field. So comfy clothes and boots are a must.
The studio is located up steep granite steps, so not suitable for those with access difficulties.
Please allow 2 hours for this workshop.
This workshop is laid back and friendly, so if you’re coming by yourself, don’t worry. It’s relaxed and you’ll meet some lovely like minded people.
