This workshop will show you how to paint your own cherry blossom and bloom decoration – suitable for placing into a vase or hanging on a wall. You’ll learn how to use acrylics to paint directly onto sustainable poplar with brushes and build up your own blossom details with acrylic pens. You’ll also work with dried flowers to create a 3d bloom with your own personalised name or message.
If weather permits, we’ll have a wander down to the orchards to see the apple blossom here on the farm.
The workshop will take place in the home of joyful makes – my recently revamped art studio.
Important Info:
This workshop is suitable for all abilities. Adults only.
We’re located on the edge of Dartmoor, sandwiched between Ashburton and Bovey Tracey. Full directions will be emailed to you.
The studio is located up steep granite steps, so not suitable for those with access difficulties.
Please allow 2 hours for this workshop.
This workshop is laid back and friendly, so if you’re coming by yourself, don’t worry. It’s relaxed and you’ll meet some lovely like minded people.
The workshop will take place across two rooms, the main studio and the garden room.
