This workshop will show you how to make a beautiful dried flower embroidery hoop. You’ll choose from a range of dried blooms, grasses and seed-heads and pick corresponding coloured threads to pick out detail, texture and shape. Using stitching and weaving you’ll build up your own bespoke design onto tulle and marvel at how gorgeous your work is! Hoops are 8 inches.
The workshop will take place in the home of joyful makes – my recently revamped art studio.
Important Info:
This workshop is suitable for all abilities. Adults only.
We’re located on the edge of Dartmoor, sandwiched between Ashburton and Bovey Tracey. Full directions will be emailed to you.
The studio is located up steep granite steps, so not suitable for those with access difficulties.
Please allow 2 & a half hours for this workshop.
This workshop is laid back and friendly, so if you’re coming by yourself, don’t worry. It’s relaxed and you’ll meet some lovely like minded people.
The workshop will take place between two rooms, the main studio and the garden room.
