Featured Businesses are:
Jewellery by Rebecca Furze – I actually own a piece of Rebecca’s jewellery and it’s one of those pieces people always ask me about. Essentially I want all of her jewellery and would drip myself in the stuff if I could! Unique, creative, unusual pieces and a great selection of earrings, rings and necklaces.
Magic Kind – Louise describes her work as practical modern clothing for you and your little ones. I’d describe it as an explosion of colour and wonderment! Quirky personalised sweatshirts, pouches, dresses and hoodies. Her wares are a treat for the eyeballs and I love her Wonder Woman range. It’s on my Santa list.
The Thoughtful Potter– Deborah makes the most beautiful thoughtful memorable pottery. She’s inspired by nature, her garden blooms and a love of playfulness. I recently bought one of her chicken pots (Frida Clucklo if you’re wondering?!) and it makes me smile every day. Beautifully made wares created from Deborah’s log cabin studio.
Festive Fingerprints– I discovered Casey’s magical business recently and it’s hands down one of the loveliest businesses I’ve found. Discover taking time out with the family as you make handmade treasures from little ones fingerprints. With cards, wrapping and personalised gift tags, this is a gorgeous business which makes masterpieces of your children’s fingers!
Hands & Hearts– Anna, Alex & Molly are a family run business of awesome humans who got their name from recognising that our hands and hearts lead us in our day to day lives. They make gorgeous wares that showcase a mix of contemporary and vintage inspired prints, cards, framed pieces and t-shirts. This is one clever family who deserve every success with this hugely creative business.
Another World Costumes– Sarah began this magical business after making capes for her child’s class during superhero week (mum skills!) She’s gone on to make creative, hard wearing costumes that feel like they’ve just jumped out of a fairy tale. Celebrating imaginative play, this is a go to business if you’ve got children in the family. Saying that, I want everything in my size!
Bluejay Made – Gilli weaves the most glorious handmade woven decorations. Designed to make your wall extremely happy! Her insta grid is a feast for the eyeballs and celebrates pastel hues, sparkles and showcases her talent for creating bespoke unique decorations. You’ll absolutely find something on her site if you’re looking for something ‘for her’ or perhaps to decorate a child’s room.
Hip Hip Hooray– These guys had me from the off with their mission statement “Empowering women to thrive against the odds”. Husband and wife team Jenny & Emiko are proud to be a social enterprise who help get women back into the workplace after multiple disadvantage. They also make blinking gorgeous stationary, journals, diaries, cards and have a huge selection of wares suitable for different events and parties. Go check them out!
Post Cake – Pippa’s mantra – don’t send card, send cake! I mean, right there, she had me like ‘YASS!’ This business makes EDIBLE greetings cards which are in cake form. What’s not to love? With a huge range of occasions and choices of giftable ‘cards’ you’ll find something for the sweet toothed here. Delivering letterbox cake to your door, if anyone wants to send one to my door that would be great, thanks!
