Within my small business I constantly make big lists of things I want to achieve… and slowly but surely I’m ticking them off the list. Here’s what I’ve been able to tackle so far:

HOW TO BE MORE ECO FRIENDLY!
Sustainability:
Mounts – The biggest change is that I will no longer be selling my artwork in mounts. Don’t get me wrong, they look fab mounted, BUT if you’re buying a frame to pop them in, the frame already has a mount included and I don’t want to add to excess wastage. So all of my prints have been resized with a white border surround and will be sold unmounted.
Pricing:
Because I’ll no longer be using mounts (one of my biggest costs) it means I’ve been able to reduce the overall cost of my prints. Yay!
Size:
I’m really pleased to be printing all of my work ‘in-house’ which means I can print to order and can now offer any print in A4 and A3 size. Again, this means that I can control what I’m storing.
Recycled Materials:
Sustainable Packaging – I will no longer be selling my work in recycled cellos. EVERYTHING will be wrapped in eco tissue and prints will be posted with cardboard backing.
Materials – All of my makes are recyclable.

My homewares and new Christmas Collection are made from FSC sustainably forested wood and each piece has been product tested to ensure safety. Each piece comes in recycled packaging.
