As part of my studio sale, meet ‘Gara Rock’

It was just me and a box of paints. The waves crashed and the sun shone. I made out colourful lines in the rocks and noticed how time had worn pieces away. The lines in the sand and the way the light hit the water set a tone to the soundtrack. It played on as I watched some brave the sea, letting the waves wrap around them like a blanket, though not a very warm blanket. Some played on the sand in groups, some came alone looking out towards the horizon, as if a long lost love was waving back. I stayed till the sun set and brought my sketches and box of paints home.
