“The Girl in the Blue Dress Print

Price range: £18.00 through £26.00

She is not posing. She is resting her face. She has survived emails, opinions, a mysterious ache in her left knee, and a conversation that started with “Can I just ask you something quick?”

She stands very still among the flowers because if she moves, someone will need her.

The roses are pale, like her patience. The birds know better than to speak. Time itself is holding its breath.

This is not a dramatic pause. This is a strategic one.

In a moment, she will open her eyes and return to being competent, kind, and helpful. But not yet.
Absolutely not yet.
This is a print taken from an original mixed media illustration. It's surrounded by a white border. The print is available as an A4 (21cm x 29.7cm) or as an A3 (29.7cm x 42cm). All prints are printed on high quality fine art 300gsm Marrutt art paper. Prints are sent wrapped in tissue and backed with a hardbacked envelope.

Frazzled in the Flowers Print

Price range: £18.00 through £26.00

Frazzled in the Flowers is based on the theory of "Frazzled Englishwoman Interiors". It's basically zero time and an emotional support mug that hasn’t been washed since Tuesday!. It’s Laura Ashley meets “I’ll deal with that later" My examples are also: A “special occasion” candle that has survived four house moves and several emotional breakdowns. The wick is at the end of its wick, in more ways than one. One extremely beautiful teacup you never use, and one chipped mug you would save in a fire. A fruit bowl containing: one lemon, three receipts, and a hair clip. At least one drawer that opens onto pure historical chaos (birthday candles, foreign coins, mystery keys, a single earring). A pile of magazines you are “about to read” that predates at least one Prime Minister. One chair that is legally a Clothes Mountain. So, yes, I'm here for the frazzled and for flowers, so here's a celebration of that. It's an original illustration using mixed media and is surrounded by a white border. The print is available as an A4 (21cm x 29.7cm) or as an A3 (29.7cm x 42cm). All prints are printed on high quality fine art 300gsm Marrutt art paper. Prints are sent wrapped in tissue and backed with a hardbacked envelope.

Personalised Christmas Eve letter from Mouse

£30.00

This personalised letter along with a hand-painted decoration is designed to be gifted on Christmas Eve. Little Mouse has written to your nearest and dearest explaining the importance of going to sleep in preparation for Santa. The personalised letter and decoration arrives beautifully wrapped in a box. Mouse is hand-painted and is 15cm high, 9cm wide. The personalised letter says the following:
Dear "Recipient"

It’s the Eve before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature has stirred, apart from me, little mouse! I’ve been busy, pitter pat, with a huff and a puff, bright crown, tailcoat smart, gold and white ruff. The softest green boots, ready to welcome winters night, bells will ring overhead from a starry sleigh in flight! Diamonds on my crown shining like the sky above, to be here, with you, I feel so very loved! Tip tapping along the skirting board, the house is looking fine, a hurry and a scurry, oh how the lights shine! Darting back and forth, my beady eyes are tired, this is a fine place to be and one I’ve long admired

You see the smallest of us have a very big part to play, in making sure we’re snug as a bug and ready for the day. Might you find a little resting place for me to lay my head? I do feel very sleepy and yearn for a warm, soft bed. Place me somewhere of your choosing, where I may take reprieve, for I, little mouse will be your guardian on this special Christmas Eve. I will keep my ears open for sleigh bells and ringing overhead, I will stay awake for you, so you may get some rest.

But before we settle down, I have something to proclaim, in all these years I’ve never, ever, been given a name! Might you look toward my little face and search deep in your heart, choose me a name, I’m sure you’ll make it a work of art. A promise from me, little mouse, as we lay down, warm and cosy, a pledge for tonight and every night, eyes shut, cheeks pink and rosy. Little mouse knows you’re tired, so little mouse will stay, we’ll open our beady eyes together on Christmas day. Remember, from little Mouse, that magic can always be found, as true as the sparkling gold upon my crown. And that wherever you go, or wherever you reside, true joy comes from the gifts we have inside. With love, Your Christmas Eve Mouse
This gift is boxed and beautifully wrapped with dried flowers and tissue paper.
